Process
-
After you fill out your inquiry, we will meet in person to fine tune design options and discuss materials. We will look at your inspiration photos and start the game plan!
-
After your consultation I will deliver sketches and fabrication options. Together we will decide which options best suit your goals.
-
Once we have committed to a design and materials I will draft a contract containing all material and labor estimates, sketches, and timeline information. After signing, I will order materials and start drawing the pattern.
-
I always create a “first draft” of your gown out of plain, cotton muslin so we can perfect the fit of my pattern and make any last minute design changes before cutting into the fashion fabric. You will try on the mock up, we will make adjustments, and be on to the real gown.
-
I require 2-6 gown fittings that will take place as close to the wedding as possible to ensure a most accurate fit.
The fitting process goes like this:
First Fitting: Fitting the Bodice
Middle Fittings: Fitting the Skirt & Sleeves
Final Fitting: Marking the Hem & Bustle
-
After all fittings are complete you will pick up your gown. This is when we will have your dress reveal party if you have opted for one and you will be able to take your gown home with you!

Quality materials require greater investments and more complex designs require more skilled labor.
My pricing is structured at labor+materials. I aim to be as transparent and up front with my clients regarding their goals for their budget as possible.
