Standard alterations include shortening straps, hemming, bustling, and taking in the sides in inch or so. I offer innovative architectural techniques that offer both comfort and a stunning sculpted look.

Customizations & Re-Design
Do you want to add a little extra YOU to your gown? In addition to alterations, consider beautiful customizations such as sleeves, new necklines, or pear details like in this before and after photo.

Major Re-Sizing & Restoration
Did you purchase a sample that was a few sizes too big or too small? Re-sizing is one of the most complicated alterations, and not all gowns can be re-sized, but I am always eager to to discuss creative solutions and go over all of your options.
Alteration Process
-
After you fill out your inquiry, we will meet in person to fine tune design options and discuss materials. I usually start pinning during this appointment so we can get an accurate game plan.
-
Standard alterations require 2-3 visits at most.
Major customizations and re-designs require 2-6 fittings that will take place as close to the wedding as possible to ensure a most accurate fit.
The fitting process goes like this:
First Fitting: Fitting the Bodice
Middle Fittings: Fitting the Skirt & Sleeves
Final Fitting: Marking the Hem & Bustle
-
After all fittings are complete you will pick up your gown. This is when we will have your dress reveal party if you have opted for one and you will be able to take your gown home with you!
-
After the wedding you can bring your dress back to be cleaned and preserved for generations to come.
